Where to Go to Find a Potential Boyfriend
These days, if asked where one could find a boyfriend, a girl would probably think of two places right away: at the local bar and on the internet. Yeah, those are great places – if you don’t mind potentially running into boys who party out all night long, and creepy online sex offenders.
Come on, there are practically dozens and dozens of other places where a quality boyfriend may be found. And he too might just be patiently waiting in there for the right girl to turn up.
First things first: just exactly what are you looking for in a boyfriend? Got no idea as of the moment? Well, why not start with common interests? It’s always nice for a couple to share something in common. Not that having a common ground is a must – but it sure is fun doing together activities that both of you are fond of.
On that note, the following are some suggested places where you could go to find a potential boyfriend, depending on what interests you.
- Library – If you’re a student and academically-inclined, the library is a place where you are most likely to run into someone who’s probably just like you: a booklover and wants to ace exams. Oh, and you can expect dates occasionally done amongst the books, which the two of you will surely enjoy.
- Grocery Store – Are you health-conscious? Then try to spot a guy at the organic fruits and veggies section of the grocery store. Or if you like your potential boyfriend to know how to whip up pastries, hang around the baking section. Here’s one effective maneuver: politely ask a cute guy to help you reach for a box of anything placed at the top of an aisle.
- Hobby Class – You love arts and crafts. You want your boyfriend to also love arts and crafts. So where else the two of you are most likely to meet than in a hobby class? Not only will you hone your creativity, but you will also be able to hone your skills – in searching for Mr. Right.
- Non-Profit Organization – Help out a non-profit organization when you got free time. You will be able to contribute a lot to your society in your own little way. As a bonus, you might also contribute something to your self when you bump into a potential boyfriend there. Here’s an ice-breaker suggestion: ask him “what can you do to make the world a better place for all mankind?”
- Health Gym – Sweaty bodies. Stinky bodies. Buff bodies. What’s that again – buff bodies? Now wouldn’t it be nice if the man of your dreams is as health-conscious as you are, and is in fabulous shape? Strike up a chat with someone who looks friendly – and hot. Act as though you’re a gym newbie, and ask him to show you how to use a particular machine.
- Shopping Mall – Set foot in the men’s section. Pretend that you are looking for a particular item, when in fact all you’re there for is to spot a potential boyfriend. When a hottie begins to stare and looks like he’s wondering what you’re doing there, flash those pearly whites and say you’re shopping for your dad or brother.
- Wedding – While catching sight of the blushing bride, look around for an adorable-looking guy from time to time. If you’re part of the bridal party, it’s perfect time for you to strike up a conversation with a cutie in the wedding – you’re all made up, donning a comely gown, and the moment is simply romantic!
